Description
A compelling relic of late 19th-century military history, this leather-covered uniform chest combines rugged craftsmanship with personal provenance. The top is marked "Sole Leather Steel Springs", while one side is painted with: "Jas Beaumont KT Bradford Go'mdy 4 Biddeford, Me." — offering a glimpse into the original owner's identity and regiment.
The interior features compartmented storage and a lithographed lid depicting a rose. An original satisfaction guarantee label remains inside, stating: "If the sword blade is not satisfactory and if the plating of any part of the uniform proves to be poor, please return it any time within 2 years."
